The Wiese family 

Claudia and Hartmut Wiese are the second generation of their family to run the hotel, and have done so for the past five years. They believe in blending historical character with modern design. Their fresh interpretation of romance, and dedication to preserving their heritage, is reflected in both the hotel’s visual style and its philosophy.

The pair are just as committed to providing excellent hospitality and interacting with their guests as they are to creating a friendly working atmosphere for their staff.

They are delighted to be part of the success story that has taken place here since the reunification of Germany 25 years ago, much of which is thanks to the tireless efforts of Claudia’s parents, Ursula and Reinhard Schmidt.

Jens Träger, Hotel Manager

Jens Träger has been the hotel manager here for almost ten years. He has always worked closely with the Wiese family to put his own touch on the history of the hotel, bringing in regional influences, expertise and dedication to ensuring his staff are well-trained.

“We know that our hotel is in the safest hands with Mr Träger, and we are very happy to have him on our team. He’s one of the family", says Claudia Wiese, adding “it was a real stroke of luck that Mr Träger chose to come and work with us. He managed the hotel for my mother before me, and is truly part of our success story.”

Anja Kahl, Event Management

Ms Kahl is here to make sure any events you hold at our hotel go exactly how you want them to.

With her many years of experience, sense of what makes each event unique and close relationships with our kitchen and service teams, your party or meeting will be in safe hands. Your requests, your guests, your entire event – all will be handled with the greatest of care. Ms Kahl and the service team are ready and waiting to make sure you and your guests have the most wonderful time with us.

 

Michael Lehmann, Reception/Events and Sales

Michael Lehmann understands the importance of ensuring that all of our guests get a warm welcome. He is always ready to answer questions and help with requests, creating a trusting and comfortable atmosphere in the hotel.

Mr Lehmann and his team are available 24 hours a day to provide any information you need about the hotel and its surroundings. Is there something in particular you’d like to do? Ask away!
