Corona Hygiene concept

We, as Romantik Hotel am Brühl, take responsibility for our guests and our staff and stand for hospitality with passion. Your well-being is our top priority. We do everything to support you and your travel plans in the best possible way. To ensure this, we have procedures, plans and rules in place to guarantee that all guests can feel safe at the hotel. We follow the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the regulations of the health authorities to prevent the spread and transmission of COVID-19. We pay attention to the prescribed hygiene measures in all areas of our hotels.


When arriving at the hotel* and when visiting the restaurant, the following must be shown without being asked:

  • proof of Covid-19 recovery, no longer than 6 months ago or
  • proof of Covid-19 vaccination 2 times, at least 14 days ago or
  • a daily updated Covid-19 test from an approved test center with an indication of non-infection. Further evidence of the test is currently required after 72 hours. (Children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are exempt from the test.)


The hotel does not have its own test station. The overview of the test stations of the tourist information provides a lot of information.

Medical mouth / nose protection must be worn in the hotel, and the corresponding use of disinfection equipment by the guest must be observed.

The 3-G rule (test / vaccination / recovery) applies to your visit to the restaurant as well as to events and conferences. Every guest is obliged to register independently using the QR code at the table.


* Business travelers are exempt from this rule.


The current incidence in the Harz district provides you with information on when the 3-G rule applies when you go to a restaurant or at meetings and events (indoor and outdoor) (from a 7-day incidence of more than 35 new infections).


This is how we protect our guests:

  • We reduce contacts and do without room cleaning during the stay. On request, fresh towels can be brought to your room. Please inform the reception upon check-in if necessary.
  • After departure, we disinfect each room and ventilate it extensively.
  • All public rooms and hotel corridors are disinfected daily.

We dispense with all unnecessary items in the rooms. Please tell us if you need anything.
